Marrissa Meyer’s Incredible Writing Has Me Hooked! I’ve eagerly awaited this book for a LONG time, and it hasn’t wavered from the amazingness 🙂 I’ve come to expect of this series. I love how strong the female heroes are as characters, and the humor added in. Thorne and Iko, and the overall sarcasm never fails to make me laugh. Satisfying End with One Minor (or Major) Quibble Overall, I thought this was a strong end to the series. Meyer managed to give Winter her due while ensuring the other characters got their screen time, too. It’s a big book, and she uses her pages well, covering the conflict with Levana and not skimping over the brutality that would inevitably follow.
