It’s ok as a warmup to history. We are several chapters in, and I find it pretty vague on most subjects. As a book to just introduce them to certain ideas and build on it, it is ok.

Poor quality This is hard to review. The content is exactly what I was looking for, but the actual book itself… The book is a photocopy of an actual book. The print is fuzzy, the cover was bent on the original so the photocopy is weird looking with a “crease” that isn’t really there. Overall it’s very disappointing to pay for this. Will probably return and buy used from ThriftBooks.com

perfect! This is a book I wish I didn’t let negative amazon reviews stop me from purchasing last year. My son reads this book with “Story of The World Vol.2” and loves it. There’s a website you can search to find corresponding chapters of “A Child’s History of the World” that match up with “Story of the World.”
