But mayhem of another sort builds in Gwen’s heart as she finds a growing attraction to this man. Can she dare to hope that love might again be hers?
A Good Read I liked this book a lot. This is the first book I have read by this author and will not be the last! This is a good clean historical western about three sisters who lost their mother and are living with their father when he gets shot dead in the street during a celebration in the town they live in. Left alone with no mother Gwen the oldest sister has taken on that roll. Now with their father gone they are having to run the roadhouse by themselves and try to keep everything and everyone…
Excellent historical Christian romance I loved the story of Gwen and Hank. This first book of the series had lots of drama, love, some humor, and a mystery that I hope will be cleared up in the next two books in the series. This book did not have a cliffhanger except for the death of Mr. Gallatin. I can’t wait to read the next book in the series.
It was ok I have read many by this author, and I don’t think this was up to her standard. The pace was really slow. There was a lot of extraneous information that I suspect was just set up for the rest of the series. I struggle to finish this book, so will not likely read the next.
