Did not do it for me This book started off pretty good. I was interested in the Steel family and their farm. Talon piqued my interest from the moment Jade laid eyes on him in the airport. Obviously there’s a lot of mystery surrounding his character since Jade had never met him since he was off in the Marines. But even still Talon displays odd behavior that definitely hints at a dark past. Jade is looking for a fresh start after he fiance jumped ship at their wedding.Â
Where do I begin? I haven’t read a book like this in a while. I craved this story needing to know the details of Talon’s past. The passion between Jade and Talon is so beautiful. There are so many strings undone right now I need to wrap everything up.Â
Hot, sexy, troubled I didn’t have alot of expectations with this new to me author…but I was floored. Talon and Jade’s story is absolutely riveting. The characters are all flawed but perfect, if that makes any sense. The horror that is Talon (and the Steel Brothers lives) sucks you right in. The sexy times were just hot, hot, hot. Your heart sinks and flies and you wonder what next? What will be revealed? I hated to see it end.
