Took me a few pages At first I didn’t know whether I would finish this book. I would read another book and then come back to it. About 1/3 of the way through it caught my interest and I ended up enjoying it very much. If you decide to try this book, give it some time and you may be surprised like I was.
Gritty, post-apocalyptic alien mayhem This story starts off with a bang and a killer twist that sets the stage for some of the high-octane, propulsive action to follow. Aliens are the bad guys but they lurk in the background, manipulating a web of human collaborators who have chosen to sell out their own species.
