Kingdoms collide in Sarah J. Maas’ epic fifth installment in the New York Times best-selling Throne of Glass series.
The long path to the throne has only just begun for Aelin Galathynius. Loyalties have been broken and bought, friends have been lost and gained, and those who possess magic find themselves at odds with those don’t.
As the kingdoms of Erilea fracture around her, enemies must become allies if Aelin is to keep those she loves from falling to the dark forces poised to claim her world. With war looming on all horizons, the only chance for salvation lies in a desperate quest that may mark the end of everything Aelin holds dear.
Aelin’s journey from assassin to queen has entranced millions across the globe, and this fifth installment will leave fans breathless. Will Aelin succeed in keeping her world from splintering, or will it all come crashing down?
Happy, and dying for the next one I just love this series. It’s one of the first I’ve read in a long time that made me eagerly await the midnight download to my Kindle. I read all night long. I’m dying now that I have to wait a year for the ending to play out. Oh Sarah Maas, how you toy with my emotions!
4.5 stars overall This series means SO much to me, but that doesn’t mean I’m going to treat it any differently than other books I review honestly. I really didn’t think I would give this more than 4 stars until the end totally changed everyyyyyything.Â
WOW! Wow. Just wow. That’s all I can really say. Like many fans, I waited the whole year for this book to come out and I was not disappointed. Aelin is really starting to come into her own power, abilities, and strategies. But I have to say, the thing I loved the most about this book was the relationships. Maas has really given everyone someone in this book – practically no one is left out of a little love – though, there are a couple relationships that are left with some serious unresolved issues…
