Book 5 of the Demon Accords.
Sometimes discretion is the better part of valor. Sometimes it’s just best to get the hell out of Dodge. After turning an ancient vampire to dust and stirring the Coven into a mob of pitchfork-and-torch-bearing vampires, Chris Gordon thinks it might be time for a road trip. So, leaving Tanya to calm the troubled masses, he heads south to help a North Carolina pack with some demon troubles. But with beautiful Stacia Reynolds in the shotgun seat and his trusty companion, Awasos, Chris just might find more trouble out of the Big Apple than in it as he follows the blacktop south. It’s demons and witches and bears, oh my.
Very Disappointed I can’t believe how much the first four books fascinated me. I have actually read each twice in one week! I really like what Tanya and Chris have come to be. Lydia is a blast! Nika, Gina and Senka characters are developing very nicely! Now comes the 5th book (this book) and after completing it I am extremely irritated. The first four books could be from a completely different series. The main characters are changed to the point that I no longer care about them. Feels like the author hates…
Slightly Disappointed In preperation, I reread the first 4 books of the Demon Accords and once again loved nearly every second of it. Then I read Fallen Stars, and I’m a little worried.Â
Different The main thing you have to realise about this book before you buy it is it is not like the others. Chris is on the road with Stacia so there really iis not much Lydia and Tanya and all that comes with them. We instead get more of Stacia and its a pleasant enough experience. We learn a little more about everything from Chris himself to the coven and the weres are developed a bit and i think we will see more of them later.Â
