Jagger Caldwell is no one’s hero. With a reputation for busting heads and breaking hearts on the underground MMA circuit, he lives for easy cash and easier women. But when he stumbles upon an all-too-familiar scene, painful memories awaken Jagger’s sensitive side and compel him to act. As a kid, he stood by helplessly as his old man beat his mom. Now, Jagger won’t let 17-year-old Tatiana Rand suffer the same fate. Nothing matters except saving her.
Tatiana is a prisoner in her own home, at the mercy of her violent father – until an unlikely savior bursts through her door and into her life. Six-feet-plus of tattooed muscle and raw power, Jagger is no prince charming, but Tatiana stopped believing in fairy tales long ago. Despite their differences in age and, well, everything else, the sexy bad boy sparks a fire that Tatiana never knew she had – and desires that only Jagger can quench.
I have read better and worse Was OK. I have read better and worse.
Sweet love story This book is right up there with the other two…Hendrix & Morrison. Must read those 2 first books to grab the concept. The “Legacy” was a great idea, I just don’t get why Hendrix’s wife who is a social worker never stepped forward to work at the “shelter” or helped in an official capacity. I would love to see a redemption series come from this that has Marshall-Morrison’s book, Bryce- Hendrix’s book and Cobra (Jason)- & Kid- Jagger’s book hell maybe even their terrible father having a story…
Must read series! I have loved every book in this series. Each one better than the last, but this one was my favorite. The love Jagger had for Tatiana was so fierce and ran so deep it made me melt. Totty was so wise beyond her years, an old soul. She’d been through so much in her young life, she deserved the love and family she got in the end. She loved hard and always looked for the good in everything and everyone. I also can’t help to hope that Jason finds his happily ever after. I recommend…
