I’ve done some stupid things in my time. I’ve been reckless. I’ve broken a few rules. But never before have I ruined so many lives or left such a trail of destruction behind me.

As Max would be the first to admit, she’s never been one for rules. They tend to happen to other people. But this time she’s gone too far, and everyone is paying the price. Grounded until the end of time, how can she ever put things right?

  1. Another great St. Mary’s adventure! As a super-duper St Mary’s fan, I pre-ordered this book months ago, and read it the day it was released. It didn’t disappoint. All the usual elements were there. My strong advice continues to be, start with the first book in the series and read them all, in order! To be fair, this book towards the end had scenes that may be been a bit rushed over, not fleshed out as much as they could have been, and some of the plot twists may have been a little too convenient, but these are trivial…

  2. Another winner by Jodi Taylor First, if it is by Jodi Taylor, read it. Second, this book is part of the St. Mary’s Chronicles series and I would recommend reading the series, including the short stories, in order. As a stand alone, you’ll enjoy it, but for the real depth and richness of the story read them all.

  3. It’s not often these days that you get the perfect combination of a great idea It’s not often these days that you get the perfect combination of a great idea, wonderful characters, and an author who can WRITE. Also, on Audible, the absolute perfect narrator. This series has it all, and it’s witty and often hilarious as well. Begin at the beginning, go on till you get to the end….then do as I do and pester the author until she writes another!
