Loose Ends is the first book in the new P. I. mystery series from D. D. VanDyke, a pen name of veteran bestselling technothriller author David VanDyke. Set against the rich backdrop of the San Francisco Bay Area, the Cal Corwin novels brim with intrigue and fully fleshed characters from cops and criminals to hit men, family and unexpected allies.
It’s like the author ran out of ideas and ended the … Loose ends says it all. It’s like the author ran out of ideas and ended the book without tying anything up
Disappointing Loose Ends was an okay mystery about a kidnapping and drugs which left me hanging at the end. It kind of went on and on and at the end there was no closure. It definitely was a ‘loose end’. I don’t recommend it and probably will not be reading any more books by this author.
no more. Good depiction of auto chase scenes, and of San Francisco highlights. But, to paraphrase the lead character’s thoughts, “so many unanswered questions,” then…End of book!! Tune in with Book Two, etc. to possibly learn the answers. No thanks!
