  1. A well-written, page-turning thriller First, this author can write! It is such a pleasure to read such a well-written book, and one which has been well edited. Add to that the premise, which was clever and unique to me, and I was hooked. Ms. Shojai brings us the likable but vulnerable September Day, who as an animal expert, trains Shadow, a dog whose thoughts we are privy to, as a special needs dog for her autistic nephew. She also has a short segment on a local radio station called “Pet Peeves” which allows callers to ask…

  2. A Dog Lover’s New Best Friend When her autistic nephew, Steven, gets lost in a blizzard, animal psychologist September Day ventures out into the freezing weather to track him.

  3. Service Dog to the Rescue! Amy Shojai is a certified animal behavior consultant and has written 26 Award-Winning Pet Care Books. She has also developed a dog training vocabulary game. She uses this knowledge to create her first book of fiction. Lost and Found is definitely a “Thriller with a BITE”.
