The hits just keep on coming for Tessie Marie Harlow. She has never had an easy life. Her mom disabled, her dad long gone, and a single mom raising a rambunctious little boy – that’s her world.

Her childhood aspirations to be a nurse disappeared after a college spring fling both blessed and burdened her with a baby boy. Dropping out of school, she returned to her hometown and began to settle in. Getting the only job she could, as a bartender, she now spends her days caring for her son and nights serving the Hellions Motorcycle Club and their affiliates.

Andy “Shooter” Jenkins has always been around. Too wrapped up with raising Rex, Tessie has never really noticed him before. He has never been loud or known to have the girls hanging all over him. He is a mystery. A chance encounter brings him to her rescue not once but twice.

The members of the Desert Ghosts Motorcycle Club are in town and bring their own brand of chaos right to Tessie’s door. Forced into her day-to-day life, Shooter is doing everything he can to shelter and protect her as lines are crossed and a war between two clubs begins.

Contains mature themes.

  1. Loved me some Shooter This has to be my absolute, hands down, favorite Hellions books. It didn’t take long for me to fall in love with Shooter. Tessie is the strongest survivor/heroine I’ve read about.

  2. A ride for survival that becomes a ride for love and fulfillment =) I absolutely LOVE the Ride series and all The Hellions MC…Chelsea Camaron writes some deeply satisfying stories of the rough tough men who ride and the women who they love and protect.

  3. The men in this book makes me swoon. I cannot believe how in the first few chapters Shooter came in and completely threw out every book boyfriend I had ever had! Shooter was dark, broody, and I honestly thought he was going to be a playboy like Rex. Or have that perceived playboy persona in Tessies eyes. But it was never there, and that was refreshing for a book. To not have the male be a man/child who sleeps around.
