Sweet for YA but with inappropriately explicit sex As an adult romantic novel it was really a waste of time. Aside from the frequent typos the novel was very stilted. It read like an outline of the real book with the author making notes as to the point she was trying to get the audience to understand. There was no SHOW only a lot of let me tell you what cliched topic is next.Â
First 1/2 Good, Second 1/2 Not Good due to Sex Just finished Montana Seal and I have to side with those who wrote a negative review. I liked the first half. Writing was decent, plot was interesting. I liked the back story and why Sadie and Hank were still in love but apart. Great second chance. I liked the mystery aspect at first, but by the middle of the book you totally know who is trying to kill Sadie. I could get over that. What really bothered me the most was the sex scenes. Not because they existed, but I thought the dialogue was so…
NEVER FELT A CONNECTION TO H/h I am surprised this book didn’t do it for me because I like her writing. Whether she is writing as E.J. or Maya Banks, I know there is going to be explicit sex and this had it – so you’re warned. But it was sex and not lovemaking.Â
