Matthew “Wolf” Steel hated flying commercial. Luckily his job as a Navy SEAL meant he didn’t have to do it very often. He’d been unlucky enough to be assigned a middle seat on the cramped jet, but fortunately for him, the woman next to him was willing to switch seats with him. Hoping for a relaxing flight, Wolf was pleasantly surprised at the good conversation and sense of humor the woman had as they flew 36,000 feet over the countryside. When Caroline boarded the plane to Virginia to move across the country for her new job she never expected to be seated next to the hottest guy she’d ever seen. She also never expected he’d be so easy to talk to. She knew he’d never be interested in talking to her if he hadn’t been trapped in the seat next to her, but it was a nice way to spend a long plane ride. Neither Wolf nor Caroline were prepared for a terrorist hijacking of their plane, but if Caroline thought that would be the last time she’d see, or need, Wolf, she’d be sorely mistaken.
1st Time Reader- Excited New Fan This is my first time reading this author. I will now be reading others by her. I struggle to write what I found best about this book. It had plenty of action and real people feelings were laid out. There were some unexpected incidents in the book. I really loved this book. My post would be a 4.5 if they had it.Â
Very disappointed…. I hate to leave such a terrible review but I did not like this book at all. I thought about stopping halfway through but I have to finish a book once I start. It was so incredibly corny and cliche I found myself rolling my eyes throughout the entire novel. I can tell the author was trying to set the stage for the heroic and brave seal but it just ended up being embarrassing. If “a SEAL doesn’t leave a SEAL behind” was said one more time to Caroline I thought I was going to gag. And then worse,…
Don’t Waste Your Time. I actually had to force myself to finish this book. Then I had to put eye drops in my eyes because they were almost stuck because I rolled them up so many times. First this “author” needs to go find a few real SEALs to meet and do some more research. I personally know a couple of real life SEALs. They are quiet professionals and do not remotely act like the guys this author has in her book.Â
