Great Start to a Promising Series I am not familiar with this author and was pleasantly surprised. The theme is predominately military science fiction (Fleet and Marines) with some social science fiction topics. It takes a while to adjust to the writing style and the heavy descriptive prose but once into the book it is hard to put down.
