No substance I have read one other Lassiter book and I thought it was not great but pretty good. STATE vs LASSITER was less than even good. I had a hard time even finishing it, but pushed through. Actually it got a bit better in the second half. There was very little substance-too much sarcasm and legal procedures that seemed to be thrown in just to fill pages. I skimmed page after page and don’t feel like I missed anything. Sorry, but I’m done with Jake Lassiter.
