Great book! I’m stunned at how much I’m enjoying this book. It is beautifully, insightfully written, informative and with the power to make me angry at how our native peoples were mistreated and deceived by the early settlers. I’m hoping it’s a book I can share with an NDN friend, so I can have the perspective of a person closer to that culture.Â

Hang in there In the beginning I was put off and confused by all the names; so I was confused and a bit “lost.”Soon, however, everything straightened themselves out, and I was transfixed by this story–all the way to the last page! Great book!
