  1. Like secrets? How about murder and intrigue Like secrets? How about murder and intrigue? L.L. Dobbs has done it up great! Telling Lies has it all, small town setting, small town secrets, great characters (especially LUCY) and Sam Mason, chief of police! The author, besides writing a great murder mystery, managed to include (in a quirky way) some of her fans as characters (Lola ?) Grab this book and you’ll be hooked, waiting for the next Sam Mason story!

  2. Dobbs hits another homerun! L.A. Dobbs is one of my favorite authors and she has another winner with the Sam Mason series.Sam is a small town Police Chief who has just lost a member of his team. While at the cemetery, they receive a call for a dead body. This story is well written with just the right amount of twists and turns…love it!

  3. 20 YEARS. RELATED TO THIS KILLING ? Murder intrigue and a small town, a 20 year old incident, still makes some people boiling mad. Sam and Jo trust one another, which says a lot after his having two failed marriages. Some wants just updates, others want justice done. Intriguing plot, and good characters, the setting is well described, all that’s left, is for the reader to find out who is guilty. Readers will delight in this new series, and hopefully a second will be out soon.
