Wonderful as Always! This was an amazing novel about a time in history that I love. Women weren’t thought of very highly then and often cast out as they could not inherit. Only men could inherit which was very unjust to say the least. Read this interesting novel about such a woman. You will be glad you did!
Wonderful Story… This book is Danielle Steele at her finest. A story of love and loss, challenges and family deception. As I fell in love with the main character, Angelique, I could truly feel her pain at the deception, cruelty and lies that befell her at such a young age. But, was cheering her on as she grew through hardscrabble work, intelligence in business and finally finding love.
