What dark secrets is the girl in the ice hiding?
As Erika inches closer to uncovering the truth, the killer is closing in on Erika.
The last investigation Erika led went badly wrong…resulting in the death of her husband. With her career hanging by a thread, Erika must now battle her own personal demons as well as a killer more deadly than any she’s faced before. But will she get to him before he strikes again?

I feel like I have started so many series as of late … I feel like I have started so many series as of late that they are all starting to run together in my head a bit. I am pleased to say that The Girl in the Ice had enough redeeming qualities that it stood apart from some of the others. Overall, I would give this novel a strong 3.5 star rating.Â
Excellent Serial Killer Thriller…….. Author, Robert Bryndza’s debut novel was a gripping crime/mystery thriller……Once I started I couldn’t stop turning the pages……The plot is elaborate, suspenseful with plenty of unsuspected twists and turns……..I never was able to guess who the serial killer was…..That to me is good writing……Great in-depth characterization of all the players….Especially, DCI Erika Foster a woman who is struggling with past mistakes and grieving the loss of her husband……At the same time…
Not what I was expecting I don’t like to disagree with everyone else, but I was asked for an honest review in return for my Netgalley ARC and this is it.Â
