Another great Karin Slaughter mystery I enjoy everything Karin Slaughter writes. I have to admit that I like the series novels (especially the Will Trent series) better than the stand alone books, but I haven’t read one of her books that isn’t good.Â
A Sure #1 Hit An absolutely wonderful read, with all of the correct bells and whistles to make it to #1, I loved this book and highly recommend it to all readers of Karin Slaughter’s already and all that should be who love mystery, drama, suspense and murder solving. Gave 5 stars. It was so hard to put it down!!!
Don’t start this if you plan to go to sleep early tonight–you’ll be reading well into the night! I’ve read most (perhaps all) of Karin Slaughter’s books over the years and always enjoyed them. They were typically very good. This latest, however, is a notch above all the others. The depth of the character analysis is striking, and the characters themselves are extraordinarily interesting. The book is also structurally interesting, with a Kurosawa-like narrative structure. Well worth reading, and not just as a divertissement. Enjoy! I hope to see more from her at this level.
