Delightful, Hopeful, Inspiring – A Great New Take On St. Nicholas I’m actually surprised with this one! It’s obvious this has been a book that Glenn has been working on for several years, and didn’t just try to push it out for timing. What a wonderful twist and take on the whole St. Nicholas story and bringing it full circle into the true meaning of Christmas!Â
Another great read from Glenn Beck! Nicholas breaks the mold of the modern kitschy Santa! Glenn is such a gifted storyteller! He did a great job of weaving this tale of Nicholas (St. Nick/Santa) with the story of Christ. It’s a story that is devoid of the kitschy 20th/21st Century image of Santa and presents an excellent alternative to it. This was a riveting story that had me fully engaged, feeling the emotions of the characters, and feeling as though I was alongside them. This book is a page turner that I devoured within hours! It’s a great read that I highly recommend!

It took longer than I assumed for the title character to become immortal {and named Nicholas}, but this book was no less enjoyable. There’s no sign of Elves or flying reindeer {yet} but this is a fine origin for Saint Nick.
