Time slips by I am a huge fan of Tess Lake. I have read all of Tess Lake’s Torrent Witches Cozy Mysteries. You have heard the saying “Calgon, take me away”. Well reading Tess Lake’s books is the same as sitting in a nice warm bubble bath and forgetting time. Her books make me relax while I am reading. I get so caught up in the books that time has slipped by.
I came for the witches, I stayed for the laughter and suspense This is an awesome series, and to get the box set for 4.99 is an incredible deal. The Torrent Witches series is not “cookie cutter” as so many witch cozy series are today. The characters are easy to become involved with. (I had no idea what a slip witch was until I started this series.) You develop a vested interest in their lives and the lives of their loved ones. One minute you’ll be laughing out loud, while your family looks at you like you’ve lost your mind, and the next you’ll…
Cute series I really enjoyed this series. The writing flows well while the people are believable. I enjoyed the family dynamics. I just wish the other booms were in sets.I suggest you give this set a try.
