  1. An easy read with some funny surprises The ‘trouble’ was certainly something I don’t remember ever encountering before. Easy read some funny stuff. I enjoyed the author’s other series about Miss Fortune so much more. Author finds the need for explicit sex scenes in this series, so if you aren’t into that (I’m not) be forewarned.

  2. Yuck! I had read three of Jana DeLeon’s previous books about the CIA agent in Sinful and loved them. They were so funny. I bought Trouble in Mudbug even though some of the reviews said it was not good to put it mildly. They were so right! Unfortunately I bought three additional ones about the mother-in-law ghost so now I am stuck with them. Surely they won’t be as stupid as Trouble in Mudbug. There was no plot, no storyline, no nothing except garbage. Come on Jana surely you can do better than…

  3. Couldn’t Finish It This book was free on Amazon so I picked it up because I love a good cozy mystery. Unfortunately, this one wasn’t so good. It was heading towards a two star review. The mystery was boring, the romance was hard to swallow and the main character wasn’t very likable. I got tired of being told how horrible the mother-in-law was, when she sure didn’t seem to be all that bad to me.
