Beards, brothers, and bikers! Oh my!

Identical twins Beau and Duane Winston might share the same devastatingly handsome face, but where Beau is outgoing and sociable, Duane is broody and reserved. This is why Jessica James, recent college graduate and perpetual level-headed good girl, has been in naïve and unhealthy infatuation with Beau Winston for most of her life. His friendly smiles make her tongue-tied and weak-kneed, and she’s never been able to move beyond her childhood crush. Whereas Duane and Jessica have always been adversaries. She can’t stand him, and she’s pretty sure he can’t stand the sight of her….

But after a case of mistaken identity, Jessica finds herself in a massive confusion kerfuffle. She has spent her whole life paralyzed by the fantasy of Beau and her assumptions of Duane’s disdain; therefore she’s unprepared for the reality that is Duane’s insatiable interest, as well as his hot hands and hot mouth and hotter looks. Not helping Jessica’s muddled mind and good girl sensibilities, Duane seems to have gotten himself in trouble with the local biker gang, the Iron Order.

Certainly, Beau’s magic spell is broken. Yet when Jessica finds herself drawn to the man who was always her adversary, now more dangerous than ever, how much of her level-headed heart is she willing to risk?

  1. Team Winston all the way!! Ahhh I loved this book, so hard! I was so excited to see that it is written in dual POV (it’s my fav)! I just got finshed binging on her Knitting in the city books and I wrapped it up with this jem. This book and Ashley’s book are my 2 favorites so far. I pretty much love all of her characters, you can’t help but like them. Everyone makes you laugh!

  2. What a captivating family The Winston Brothers (and sister) are a intriguing lot. Hard workers, they appear to be blue collar and tied to many aspects of their community. But they have peculiar attributes that make them fascinating. In this book, Duane Winston has been waiting for his chance with Jessica for years. She’s back in town and he makes his move for her. However when reality with Jessica, an extremely bright high school teacher, does not quite match up with auto mechanic and fast car driver Duane’s…

  3. :: 4.5 Pretty Little Stars :: This is a GREAT book. It is sweet, charming, and very funny. I love the whole idea that this series surrounds all the Winston brothers (and will be a six book series) and I can’t wait to read the rest of them. This is mainly because it is so easy to fall in love with these sweet, caring, and adorable bearded brothers. I’d also like to point out that I really adore these covers. They are so unique! When I first saw them I was immediately drawn to the series. And because I never read…
