From #1 New York Times bestselling author Brad Thor.

As a storm rages across the Mediterranean Sea, a terrifying distress call is made to the Italian Coast Guard. Days later, a body washes ashore.

Identified as a high value terrorism suspect (who had disappeared three years prior), his name sends panic through the Central Intelligence Agency.

Where was he headed? What was he planning? And could he be connected to the “spectacular attack” they have been fearing all summer?

In a race against time, the CIA taps an unorthodox source to get answers: Navy SEAL turned covert counterterrorism operative, Scot Harvath.

Hired on a black contract, Harvath will provide the deniability the United States needs, while he breaks every rule along the way.

Packed with pulse-pounding action, fascinating characters, and electrifying intrigue, Brad Thor does it again and proves why he is known around-the-world as the “Master of Thrillers.”

  1. Great Heart Pumping Read I have a hard time reading these types of books because of my former career in the SEAL Teams and as a paramilitary contractor. This was my first Thor novel and Brad nailed it. I was impressed (I don’t impress easily), Brad’s attention to detail reminded me of why I was such a huge Tom Clancy fan (e.g. using a space blanket to reduce thermal body heat signature). Excellent book, highly recommend.

  2. Fantastic read I was completely immersed till the last page Again the Author brings a level of current events and makes it seem as though he is a non fiction Author. The events in his books could be ripped from headlines. Fantastic read I was completely immersed till the last page.

  3. “Use of Force;” Stand Alone Action-Adventure Thriller with Lots of Action, but…. If you’re looking for an Action-Adventure type novel in which American special forces with little regard for legal compliance and inconvenient rules, this book is written especially for you. On the other hand, if you demand your books to be politically correct and free of profanities, you will want to pass on this. Although the 17th in the series, this is a stand-alone novel.
