No strings attached.

It’s not what I really want, but it’s all he has to offer. He’s filled with turmoil and heartache and regrets, but for two hours every Wednesday all he feels is me. How much I desire him, how desperate he makes me, how much I’d like things to be different between us. Real.

He used to be my best friend back before he got married. And now? Now, he’s a young widower. It’d be wrong on so many levels to expect something more from him. So I give him what he needs. But I know I can’t keep this up. I’ve already given him my body, my soul. I want him to have my heart. It might drive him away forever, but that’s a risk I’m forced to take.

  1. SHAW AND CHLOE The reviews were accurate, this was a short story about best friends finally discovering their love for each other. While Chloe always knew she was in love with Shaw since they were children, Shaw took awhile to figure it out (men!) I enjoyed reading this story. It was an entertaining quick read.

  2. Hump Day! Shaw had just lost his wife, so who do you turn to for help to get you through it? Your best friend. Chloe has been best friends with Shaw since they were little. She has always been there, so when his wife died, she was there for him but in a new way that she never thought would happen.

  3. Not happy with Kendall Ryan When I purchase a book and it shows 200 plus pages I do not want to pay for a story that is like 30 pages and the rest of the 200 plus pages are ads for other books to me that is like stealing !!!!!! Not happy with Kendall Ryan 😡
