Off we go to London Town! My Mom and I used to quote that every time we would go on a trip. This is easily one of the best Wee Sing tapes, now available on CD. My cousin recently had her 2nd baby and I bought it for him. And since my Mom had the NERVE to sell our original copy of this one in a garage sale, I just HAD to download it to my iPod before wrapping it.
nice, but not everything I expected I didn’t realize that the nursery rhymes came in a story with a narrator talking much of the time. I’m not a huge fan of listening to the story parts. I wish it had the option to just listen to the nursery rhymes. The lullabies are on the second half of the cd. I put it in iTunes and made a playlist of just the lullabies so I can put it on repeat and not hear the narrator.
Have a child…. Get this set! (Cassette and book) Wonderful collection of nursery Rhymes and lullabies. Includes the old favorites as well as a few I had not even heard of. The voices used are very soothing. I enjoy it. My eight year old enjoys it. And my 9 month old enjoys it. When nothing else seems to be able to calm my infant down for sleep, this works wonders. Great for family time before bed. Times that I am sure my children will remember when they grow up and want to continue with their children.
