Great book – buy it – you will love it. This is a well thought out Litrpg Book. Read it in one sitting. Author has a great talent for world development. I highly recommend this book and this author in general.
Felt a little rushed The story was good and the character development was decent, but many times it felt rushed. The whole part were he was working with the police could have been done much better had more effort went into developing him through working with the police more.
2nd in the series The book continues on from the first on the series with our hero having his animal and AI companions evolve into the next stage of their life cycle.He also gets involved with the local police as mana increases and gamers become more common on the streets.Not as good as the first book in my opinion, and over a bit quickly, as it seemed to be more filler/fluff in dealing with his companions and working out how to ‘improve’ himself with modifications in either tech or animal.
