Don’t Expect Tarot Cards… Or you will be disappointed. These cards are beautiful, however, and are great aids to meditation, pathworking, and/or spiritual growth. The images for each ‘Path’ are appropriate and quite well-done. There’s a card for each Sephirah, and one for each Hebrew letter (or ‘Path’).The ‘Paths’ will look unfamiliar to those who are used to Hermetic Qabalah; just try to remember that this is Kabbalah, i.e. traditional Jewish metaphysical philosophy. The author states that these cards are intended to be “used as a visual aidl for a journey of self-exploration using the Kabbalistic Tree of Life as a symbolic map of the psyche” (page 6). A lot can be learned by studying the small booklet (106 pages) that comes with the cards (10 Major, 22 Minor). These cards will certainly appeal to collectors of such cards, but also to anyone wanting to deepen their knowledge of the Qabalah / Kabbalah. Recommended.
