A visually stunning deck, rich in detail, cross-tradition symbolism, iconology and color. This is a traditional 78 card tarot conceived with amazing color and detail, a feast of universally understood symbolism and iconography. Appealing as a collector’s item for the glorious artwork alone, this deck is ultimately designed as a tool for divination or magick; both mysterious and impenetrable at the same time. Each card details associations to Runes, Triple Goddess mysteries and the language of flowers and plants. This is a graduate course in the esoteric. A Pearls of Wisom Study Group has formed on tarot forum Aeclectic. Includes 150 page, FULL COLOR, book.
A Real Connection This is the tarot deck out of all the decks that I own that I have the strongest connection with. It is also the easiest one for me to read with intuitively. The artwork is breathtakingly vibrant. I would give it 5 stars but for the fact that the very 1st time I shuffled them the paint started to chip off the edges of the cards. The quality of the artwork is beyond phenomenal so it is such a terrible shame that the quality of the materials it is made with are subpar. Besides the issues with the color chipping off the card edges they are also very poorly cut. They look like they were punched out of a pre-cut page like some of the do-it-yourself kits have. On a positive note- there is a nice little booklet that comes with the deck. It was much better than the leaflets that come with many of the others. It is the perfect size to fit in the bag and keep with the cards. I loved how she explained some of the symbolism she used in it for the major arcana. I just wish she had…
thoughtful Beautiful, bright, imagery that takes up the whole card, which I very much like. Why waste space with borders? The symbolism abounds with room for your personal intuition to pick up what it will. I can’t imagine ever seeing the same thing twice -you’ll keep noticing “new” and different things about each card. Some may think this deck is quite busy, but I like that in a tarot card…allows both the querant and the reader to pick up lots of vibes, so to speak. The backs are colorful, too and with Chakra colors/ (Rainbow) and a spiral design.Good for a collector as well as a great reading deck.I am always a bit picky when it comes to faces in tarot decks. This one doesn’t really bother me too much- I don’t like the characters to look too cartoony or expressionless.Glad I came across this one.
Pearls for Pearl I was so excited to receive my Pearls of Wisdom Cards. I listened to Roxi being interviewed and immediately appreciated the energy that went into creating a Tarot Deck. I had to get one! But I had no idea they were going to be this amazing! Each card is overflowing with narratives and truth! It’s amazing what a true artist can achieve! As a bonus, the 3D affect captured by a magnifying glass, will fill your journey with excitement and adventure as you fall into the depths of such thrilling artwork and brilliant translations.
