Arthur Greeno ran in from the cool Wisconsin air at Silver Birch Ranch to take a call from his mother. He had been at camp for a week enjoying horseback riding, outdoor sports, swimming and most of all, being away from home – everything a 14 year old boy dreams of. This was all about to change. His mother called to let him know that the family was moving. Again. “No big deal,” he thought, “just another house.” Not exactly. His family picked up and moved 600 miles across the country while he was at camp. He had no idea what kind of home he would be returning to. Or, more importantly, how he would get there. After camp, Arthur had to hop on a Greyhound bus from Chicago, Illinois to Tulsa, Oklahoma all by himself. Little did he know that what he would find on that bus would lead him to overcome his childhood hardships, physical restrictions and loneliness, changing him forever and leading him to become a successful business owner, grateful father and loving husband.

Excellent, Motivational….A Book of Hope For All! This book will help all those who struggle, who have it rough, who think that there is no way to make it because of family disfunctionality. Arthur captures the essence of real hope and change as he outlines his journey from a youth in a challenging family to a successful businessman, husband and father. If you are young and struggling or know of a young person who is struggling due to their current situation I would make certain they got a copy of this book. I tip my hat to Arthur for sharing…
Inspirational book I’ve yet to go to a chik fil e’ restaurant yet look forward to now that I have an idea of the management philosophy. The author of dysfunctional inspiration Arthur Greeno has written an easy to read and easy to relate to book about struggles he faced and how his faith and humor helped him persevere. We all can relate to struggles and his positive ways are a good reminder to not give up and have faith in ones’ self and others.
Fun and easy book to read! Great Message, too! Recommended! This is a humorous, honest story of a person’s life that has an inspirational quality woven throughout. I really admired how he plainly spoke of what were less-than-optimal situations (aka situations that would shatter most teenagers) without indulging in ridicule, blame or wallowing in self-pity. Instead, the book focused only on the positive (and often funny) message of never giving up, overcoming adversity, and the importance of creating and maintaining a close relationship with God…
