great quilts, poor text I bought this book at my local quilt shop. I looked through it for a long time without noticing the poor quality of the text, and I’m not sorry bought it (though I paid full retail). However, I’ve been sewing for years and was only interested in the illustrations. The content of the text may be good, but who can tell? It’s unreadable. Another case of too bad for the writer.
Great ideas, but small print! Love Lucie Summers’ new book “Quilt Improv”, but the very small, light print is very difficult to read. This really is a great little book full of new, innovative ideas for more “free-form” quilts, and I would have given it 5 stars but for the print. Yes, I am a “mature” quilter, but I think even the “youngsters” would have trouble reading it.
