As I read on though, the slight irritation I felt with the name, “Timmy”, in addition to the simplistic writing style disappeared. There is a lot of gooood information in this book!   2. I have enjoyed the reading of the Lean Life I have enjoyed the reading of the Lean Life. It is simply written for a health/nutrition novice as well as one who may have a little more experience in that area. I really enjoyed the easy to follow analogies regarding the process in which food gets broken down, how the body uses fuel, and how the different macros rely on each other to do the job.   3. Mixed thoughts Absolutely horrible prose but as someone just starting out looking for information on simple ways to start losing weight, I was grateful for the information provided. Honestly though I couldn’t get past the writing….ended up skimming for the actual information. So mixed feelings, good starting spot for me I think and I’m appreciative of the information provided but poorly written.
