This book is simply a collection of quotes from people who, for the most part, have no idea whatsoever that they are being funny. They mispronounce words, misuse words, create their own words, or just say some pretty idiotic things. It is not my intention to make fun of people or make anyone feel stupid…or is it? My personal commentary accompanies each quote, so if this book offends anyone in any way, then I apologize…just kidding!Â

Shades of The Bowery Boys. It always, as Slip Mahoney would say, irrigated me how people murdercated the English language! This book is a clear example of that and brilliantly conveyed by Mr Courtenay. This is simply a book that one can not put down. Well done!
