Unlike some other reproductions of classic texts (1) We have not used OCR(Optical Character Recognition), as this leads to bad quality books with introduced typos. (2) In books where there are images such as portraits, maps, sketches etc We have endeavoured to keep the quality of these images, so they represent accurately the original artefact. Okay, but……. Lots of sayings of the president, but nothing to tell the reader to what the saying is being addressed. Sometimes hard to figure out.
Did He Say ~ that???? Some great quotes that I didn’t even know came from Abe Lincoln himself. Very short read, but interesting! I have the Kindle touch, I didn’t see any images.
Wonderful reading from a most insightful man. Abraham Lincoln was one of the most insightful, traditionally-eloquent and articulate Americans of the 19th century. From his most renown works, to simple letters to friends, Lincoln commands the English language in a way that few ever have or ever will. The power of his words and the clarity of his thoughts leave the reader feeling both inspired and filled with admiration for this great man.
