This book captured the very essence of life, love[loss and gains]and the pursuit of happiness. I loved “The Star Of My Life” and “I am Free”. This is definetly a MUST read
Syieve Locklair pens apropos verses with a style that tells the whole of life – passion, pleasure, pain; simply he ‘kills softly with words’. The familiarities, cadence, colloquialisms, and illustrative revelations of Sy’s writing allows for both the privacy of being alone to wrestle and reconcile such deeply, emotionally, potent reflections while at the same time feeling freed, even compelled to ‘speak’, in that such experiences are shared by an other and poignantly brought into the open.
