  1. Motivation Plus! I really enjoyed this book and is an great guide to keep nearby. Excellent, very succinct guide to motivation, that is down to earth and very useful.

  2. Distilling all of the other self-help books into one James Kalnins truly does give us the best self help & motivation book on how to achieve your life goals in the shortest time possible because his book is short, and not only easy to understand, but easy to apply to your life. There are lots of self-help books out there, but for me, Kalnins’ book is different because it’s an encapsulation of all of what’s best in those thousands of books. And as Kalnins says in the intro, he’s studied real life examples of successful people and distilled their secrets, to give us an easy to follow program of how to achieve our own success. One of my favorite truths in the book is when Kalnins points out that successful people do what 90% are unwilling to do. That the delaying of gratification leads to success, but that when people are doing what they want, that delay is not onerous at all, but pleasurable instead. What makes this book so easy to understand is how each idea has its own chapter in bold print so you know…

  3. `You are never defeated!’ After a list of abbreviated success stories from people who were at the bottom of the heap and managed on their own to rise to the top, James Kalnins opens a self-help book like few others. He uses the positive approach to encourage each of us to join him in the science of success.Remaining on a positive supportive note (yet challenging each reader to take up the banner toward change), Kalnins defines success as an action to reach an aim or favorable outcome: `success is an active process – not a passive on.’ Filled with such encouraging statements such as playing to win, live our dreams, changing our direction to our destination, make success habitual, believe the impossible is possible, and more, this is a book to truly inspire us.Once the parameters of achieving success are stated, Kalnins offers very readable interviews with people who have created their own success: Janine Allis, Justice Kirby, Glen Gerreyn, Brian Sher, Margaret Lomas, Dr. Steven R. Covey…
