“After her death the kids used to say her ghost haunted the plantation.”
The bayou holds many secrets. One of them is what really happened to Lisette, a beautiful Creole teenager who died on the last day of school. Everybody in Fanchon’s reclusive bayou parish knows Lisette died in a boating accident, but when the police take a closer look, they unearth the dead girl and find a surprise in her grave.
All Saints’ Secrets is the sequel to To Murder a Saint. It is highly recommended that the Saint books be listened to in order.
QUICK & EASY READ. Boy, I finished this book in little over a day! I thought I would read this one since it was from “the bayou”. Since I am from Louisiana originally, I thought I would get it. Goodness, I felt so bad for this girl. Just when you thought nothing else could happen to her, something did. What a survivor!!!! I did not see the ending coming, that’s for sure. If you are thinking about getting this one, please do. I don’t think you would be disappointed. Has me craving some beignets now!!!!!
Twists you will be shocked by I received this book from the author in exchange for a fair and honest review.Â
middle of a book I hadn’t read This book CANNOT be read without reading the first book. I felt like I had picked a book at random and opened in the middle and started reading. I had NO idea who the people in the book where. At 140 pages this wasn’t even a novella, it was really just a chapter in a book.
