All his life, Reyes Alexander Farrow has suffered the torments of the damned. Only one thing has given him hope: the woman who radiates a light that no mortals can see; a light that only the departed can see….
Told from his point of view, Brighter than the Sun chronicles the first time Reyes ever encountered Charley and how their relationship has been the one thing that can either save him or doom him.
Best book of 2015 My head and my heart are reeling right now from this excruciatingly powerful addition to the Charley Davidson series. Darynda Jones often has us laughing, angsting and even crying over the antics of the lovable and zany heroine Charley Davidson. The handsome, powerful and mysterious son of Satan Reyes Alexander Farrow has his day in this book told from his POV. The emotional impact of this book cannot be stressed enough. At times almost painful to read, anyone who has come to love these…
A Beautifully Written Heartbreaking Story I love the Charley Davidson series. I love Darynda Jones’s writing style and her ways with words. She is truly a gifted writer that not only allows the readers to escape into the world she has created but she has you falling for all the characters! I also love that Lorelei King is the narrator for this series. She brings an additional dimension to each of the character and breathes life into them.Â
Broke my heart Fans of the Charley Davidson series know that Reyes Farrow has not had an easy life. We’ve seen little glimpses here and there over the course of the past eight books. But there is knowing, and there is knowing. This novella doesn’t wallow in his misery, but any story about Reyes and his life is going to be tough. And believe me, it is.Â
