Welcome to Knight Kyle’s world!
Beyond the great forest and towering Dragon Mountain lies Fairyland, a land of elves and trolls, dragons and giants, magicians and fairies. And in one corner, Fairyland East, lives Knight Kyle.
Kyle’s great-grandfather once possessed a silver lance that, according to legend, gave its owner invincible power. The lance is now missing, and Kyle is always looking for it, but so are his worst enemies: the robber Rasputin and the evil magician Balduin.
Luckily, Kyle has the help of his friends, including Lady Constance (who is as brave as a dragon), Dragobert (who really is a dragon), Elf Aurin (whose harp playing, unfortunately, puts Kyle to sleep), and Prince Nepomuk (who protects his friends and his wardrobe at all times).
Almost every day they find themselves in a new amazing adventure….
Good book. Bad kindle edition. This book has been great to read to my kids, age 5 & 7. Entertaining, has a good enough story line, moves along enough to hold their attention.Major editing problems in my kindle edition. Every 4th page repeats, words overlap and become unreadable. Knight Kyle kills you with gentle humor and crazy quests! Love it! “REMAIN CHILDLIKE, AS LONG AS YOU LIVE!” That’s the author’s wish for you. And these stories and illustrations may help you do that as they did for me.Â

This month, however, I opted to read Oliver Potzsch’s first children’s book, Knight Kyle and the Magic Silver Lance because a) why not and b) I have twin toddlers and, even though they aren’t anywhere near being able to read chapter books, I still like to know what’s out there when that time comes. Several years…
