Very good storytelling, but I couldn’t stand the main character Very good storytelling, but I’m afraid I just didn’t like the main character. Many of his choices seemed foolish and selfish to me. I just didn’t enjoy the journey from inside his head. I kept wanting to smack him to straighten him out.
A whole new world with fantastic characters! I love J. L. NYE and her new cast of characters. I can’t wait to start the next book in the series. When I had learned of Robert Aspirin ‘s demise I was truly sad, but now I know how much was learned (shared or collaborated) by these two, I know that this tradition of great humorous sci-fi will continue.
