It started with a kiss….

Mari Beadie needed a boyfriend, and former NHL hockey star Chase Miller happened to be in the right place at the right time. The kiss that followed wasn’t necessary, strictly speaking, but it sure was hot.

Hot enough that when the tables are turned, Chase knows just the pretty bartender to ask to be his pretend girlfriend. Only this time, it’s not a one-time deal.

  1. Fantastic sweet romance! This is a fabulous story about a hockey player that was injured in a car accident and can no longer play the game. Chase Miller is suffering from depression because his life is no longer on the path he started on. He’s seen Mari Beadie almost every day for year, to have a beer and lunch at the bar she works at. The moment he saves her from her ex by pretending to be her current boyfriend and kisses her, is the moment that starts the undeniable attraction between them. She’s an aspiring song…

  2. Never disappointed with this authors works. I received this book free from Amazon and I am voluntarily writing a review. Chas a former NHL player overhears her and steps up to the…

  3. I liked being in Wardham again, but there wasn’t quite enough story here I’ve read quite a few of the Wardham series, and this is one of my least favorites. It seemed like there wasn’t quite enough story to fill a whole book. Chase and Mari were both very much anti-relationship, but it didn’t make a whole lot of sense. They both liked each other and neither was dating anyone else…their reluctance seemed too contrived.
