It was a quiet Seattle morning until the skies filled with fire: without warning, a catastrophic meteor shower caused buildings to crumble and the lights to go out. Out of the rubble, five ordinary people arose to find themselves manifesting undreamed-of abilities.

I SO enjoyed this book Not one for long reviews or criticism of writing style. Just a reader who either loves a book or not. Probably the reader Most want to hear from as its a no BS review from a person who completely enjoys reading:I SO enjoyed this book..I did wish the characters had come together sooner,.but it did leave me itching.for the next installment Some books you think, should I wait for the next or leave it. A powerful offering from Timothy W. Long… one might say “super-powerful”, even. Long’s latest is grand in scale and in delivery. What if you accidentally became a superhero? Would you be super? Or even a hero?

A Jarring thrill ride of a novel This is a very hard to classify book picture a mash up of Heroes and Independence day. The mashup is over all sucessful but lost me in a couple of spots. The plot moves briskly and the author excells at action scenes painting them so vividly i could almost smell the smoke from a burning Seattle. Impact Earth cries would make an awesome movie. This is book one in a series and I look forward to the next.
