Could have been so much better I have to start by saying that I had high expectations for this book. I loved the Selection series. Even through the flat feeling I got during the third book. I loved the companion short stories and thought the characters were excellently written. So I did expect a lot from a continuation of something I though had been done so well.

Weak, but with potential (3 1/2 Stars) I absolutely loved the first three books in the Selection series. Maxon and America had such a beautiful story, and I was expecting so much more for their daughter. Sadly, I was not impressed with Eadlyn at all. Okay I guess I thought I was going to love the book, but I’m totally incompatible with Princess Eadlyn. I just don’t like her. Instead; I love the Selected Guys. They’re hilarious, handsome, NICE, and new to this whole concept of The Selection.
