Poorly written for target audience I am amazed at the positive reviews of this book. Yes, the overall message is good but presumably, this book is for children <10 years old, given the illustrations and overall story and the text is FAR too advanced for such an age group. Not just the vocabulary, but the concepts are not well explained for children and I feel that this was just a ‘cut and paste’ of the adult book into a book for kids (supposedly) with younger scenarios (bullies, homework, etc.)Â

Energy Bus The concept of the book is good. I have the Energy Bus for adults and thought it was good. The Energy Bus for Kids uses vocabulary that is far to advanced for the age group suggested by the graphics. I looked for a recommended age group before buying the book but didn’t find one listed. Judging from the graphics I thought it would probably be K-4. The terms used were far to advanced for that age group but the graphics were far too elementary for readers above the 4th grade.
