Another pastry, another dead body.

Things have started to look up for Molly Sutton. Her new life in the French village of Castillac isn’t as peaceful as she expected it to be, but maybe that could be a good thing. Turns out a little mystery, a little excitement – it gives a girl with imagination something to do besides obsess about croissants.

After Molly stumbles on another dead body, our amateur detective wastes no time before eavesdropping and butting into conversations all over town, gathering as much information as she can on everyone.

But when Dufort is about to clap handcuffs on the wrong man, she’s got to do more than eavesdrop to save him. Will she have the chops – and the cleverness – to pull it off?

  1. Great Series This is the second book in this series and I enjoyed it. I feel like I’m transported to a small village in France while reading this book. Very cozy type of book even though there is a murder. There are most of the same characters that were in the first book and some new ones. I really enjoy this series and will continues to read them. They hold my interest which a lot of mysteries don’t do. I can also taste the delicious goodies she is always buying from the bakery.

  2. Good story This mystery had me guessing right to the end. As with the first book loved the characters and the setting. Descriptions were great making me want to visit this little village in France and sit and have coffee and French pastries with the villagers.

  3. Delightful Mystery & New Life of an American Woman in France I have read every book in this series and every one has been great! I’m in love with France and to follow this American woman becoming a part of the French village, is wonderful. Ms. Goddin beautifully describes details so you can smell the fresh croissants in the Patisserie! Delightful series with a good mystery and characters you want to know. I have read every book in this series and every one has been great!
