The First Taste

A sexy single dad standalone romance from the author of Slip of the Tongue. Narrated by Sebastian York and Andi Arndt.

Single dad Andrew Beckwith has already devoted his life to one girl – and as far as he’s concerned, she’s all he needs. The inked, rough-around-the-edges bad boy left his reckless ways behind six years ago when his daughter Bell was born. When Bell’s mother walked out of their lives, Andrew vowed never to let another woman close enough to hurt them again.

Amelia isn’t just another woman. She’s an independent, smart, and savvy businesswoman who doesn’t have time for sex, much less love. In the midst of a drawn-out, bitter divorce, all she wants is to bury herself in work. But when sharp-tongued Amelia and stubborn Andrew cross paths, sparks fly – and burn.

After all, it’s not as if opposites ever attract.

  1. … of anything written by this author and I absolutely LOVED her writing style This is my first taste of anything written by this author and I absolutely LOVED her writing style. The First Taste is well written, a tad emotional and sexy as hell. I love a good single parent love story, but Andrew Beckwith is now my favorite single dad.

  2. Surprised by this book Oh my gosh, where do I start? I was both afraid and excited to read the blub about this book. I had never read anything by Jessica Hawkins and I most certainly didn’t read Sadie’s story as it contained cheating.. However, this is an oversight I plan on rectifying in the near future.
