  1. Strangely, too much action. There were good things, but also problems with this book. Is there action? Constantly. So non-stop that I’m finding myself wondering what room I’m in, and why exactly the main character is holding this weapon? I, for once, find myself asking the author to slow down. Actually describe where the character is, and what the butt is happening exactly? 

  2. A great sequel to an exciting trilogy This is a great sequel to an exciting trilogy. Magic Hunter had us follow Rosalind as she realized that she had been living in a lie, and confront the ugly truth. This book tells us of the aftermath, with her attempts at rectifying old wrongs, trying to piece her fragmented past and gearing up for a future war.

The whole book was like being on a roller coaster – an awesome, badass roller coaster! I am really enjoying getting to know Rosalind as she grows into her character. I can totally appreciate the battle she has to go through as she adjusts to each new chapter of her life. I like seeing the relationships play out and the witty dialogue as well.
