Some secrets are worth dying for…Military historian Trina Sorensen has a nearly impossible task before her: get recalcitrant but tempting former Navy SEAL Keith Hatcher to reveal what happened during a top secret Somalia op five years ago. Recent history isn’t usually her forte, but the Navy wants a historian’s perspective and has given her the high security clearance to get the job done. Keith isn’t just refusing to tell Trina about the op, he’s protecting a national secret that could destroy the lives of those he cares about the most. But not wanting to talk about a covert mission doesn’t mean he isn’t interested in spending time with the sexy historian, and the first time they kiss, it’s explosive. When the past comes pounding on Keith’s door, he’ll do anything to keep Trina safe…Anything, that is, except tell her the secret that could get them both killed.
Rachel Grant ROCKS! Add her Evidence series to your must-read list. As you might guess, I quickly began reading the next title in the Evidence series, Withholding Evidence.Â
Secrets This is another great standalone addition to the Evidence series. Set in the Washington D.C. area, this romantic military suspense story is filled with action, politics, cover-ups and espionage. Because of the overarching storyline and continuation of characters in support roles, I’d recommend reading the series from the beginning, but it’s not necessary. In either case the series is well worth reading and is one I highly recommend.

Suspense romance delivers Withholding evidence is a suspense romance featuring military historian Trina Sorensen that got herself into some nasty conspiracy when she was sent to interview former navy SEAL Keith Hatcher on an op in Somalia 5 years ago. She normally deals with something that happened decades in the past, but she’ll do her job. She did not count on the extremely handsome but hostile Keith refusing her, even though Keith was intrigued about her to meet her at a party later and asked her out another day…
